Rain in New York: Yankees vs. Guardians match postponed to tomorrow

The managers may well manage an alignment according to the rest of the guys, but sometimes the weather comes to upset the plans of the clubs.

Due to rain in the Bronx, the Yankees and Guardians will not be able to play today. The game will be resumed tomorrow at 1 p.m.

There will only be one game on the schedule today: Astros vs. Mariners. It will be at 3:37 p.m. since it is too late to postpone the time of the match.

What that means is that the Yankees and Guardians will possibly play four games in a row. It is not ideal for the rest of the pitchers, that.

And that could work in favor of a deep club like Cleveland.

Nestor Cortes Jr. and Shane Bieber may therefore not be able to return to throw relief (if needed) late in the series due to the day off being moved. So it’s a shame for everyone, we’ll tell each other.

Those are the risks of an open stadium in October, though.

Tomorrow, the weather will be (a bit) milder and the two clubs will play at 1 p.m. before heading to Ohio. Will fatigue benefit a particular team?
