The deadline for Blue Jays is behind us.
And just before it ends, the leaders made a transaction for an impact lift (Louis Varland) and for Ty France from Minnesota.
In return, two young people go to Minnesota. Kendrys Rojas (Hope number five of Blue Jays, launcher) and Alan Roden, a young voltiseur of Blue Jays that we saw a little in Toronto this year, take the opposite way.
Mitch Bannon was the first to talk about it.

Varland really has a whole season and its addition to the enclosure was not a luxury, considering its velocity. His average of 2.02 in 51 outings made a candidate of choice to go on the deadline, even if he will not be a free agent before 2031.
And France? He adds depth, I imagine. But to the detriment of Will Wagner, was it the thing to do?
With Serantony Dominguez and Varland, that means that the Blue Jays enclosure is better than it was. And if Yimi Garcia returns along the way, it will also help.
Recall that Shane Bieber is also there, he who was acquired this morning.
That's a wrap for the Jays' deadline, source tells me and @ShiDavidi:

• Shane Bieber

Is it enough, do you think? Would Ross Atkins and Mark Shapiro had to pay more to be able to go and get more reinforcement for the rest of things?
The answer in the coming months.
The Kansas City Royals acquired outfielder Mike Yastrzemski from the San Francisco Giants, a source confirms to ESPN. @feinsand first on the news.
