You were afraid of not being entitled to a baseball game tomorrow? Rest assured: there will be Game #5 between the Guardians and the Yankees in the Bronx.
Tonight, the Yankees made sure they stayed alive against the Guardians with a 4-2 victory in enemy territory.
Both clubs are preparing to fly to New York for Game #5 tomorrow and that’s largely due to the work of Gerrit Cole.
The Yankees needed to see him pitch like a #1 pitcher and he did. In seven innings of work, he passed eight guys in the mitt and only gave up two runs. Hat.
