Derek Jeter has no plans to become a club owner again

Since he retired, Derek Jeter continues to be talked about. After all, when you’ve been captain and shortstop of the Yankees, it gives you some status.

The one who is now an analyst for FOX Sports was notably a shareholder of the Miami Marlins for a few years. He hasn’t been for a year.

We knew he wanted to work in baseball and he did.

Obviously, we do not really know how to qualify his balance sheet. After all, the club did not improve drastically under his watch – but he is very good at the moment.

There are some rumors about a “constructive dismissal” from the Marlins, but hey. The point is that right now he is not associated with any ball club.

And he does not necessarily have in mind the goal of starting over.

Warning: Jeter didn’t say he never will. What he said is that right now he doesn’t see himself diving back into adventure.

For what? Because he notably has four children under the age of six. It’s stock, we’ll agree.

If the opportunity arises one day, he will probably give it some thought. But at the moment, his family life with his TV job and his other projects are more than enough for him.

The feeling that I have? Somewhere, there is a team that will give him a sign. We suspect that the captain will not accept anything…

But I think the phone will ring.

In an ideal world, we would agree that the Yankees would have to offer him a little something. Seeing him working in the Bronx is natural.

  • The Quebecer makes his place.
  • Reminder: things are bad in New York.
  • I like the game of hopes.
