Carlos Rodon will be back on July 7

Yankees fans have been waiting for him for quite a while, but now he’s about to arrive for the first time.

I’m obviously talking about Carlos Rodon, the excellent starting pitcher signed as a high-priced free agent during the offseason.

We will remember that an injury prevented him from starting his season at the same time as everyone else. That said, his progress towards a return to play is good.

She is so good, in fact, that manager Aaron Boone said the club was ready to put a date on her return to play. We are talking about July 7, which is five days away.

His back is fine after his exit yesterday, which makes him ready to take the next step in his return to play, which is to start in the Majors.

We knew that the Yankees would potentially see him again around the All-Star Game… and that’s what will be done. He will have a start before the break.

It will be good for the club, which badly needs reinforcements in the rotation. After all, besides Gerrit Cole, he lacks stability in all of this.

But there, with Rodon, the goal will be to get some. After all, even if the succession is good, you shouldn’t just rely on relievers, right?
