After all, there is potential, but pitchers aren’t exactly dominant.

Bruce Bochy, legendary manager of the Padres and the Giants, would have talked a bit yesterday to Chris Young, GM of the Texas Rangers.
Have they talked about the possibility of seeing the legendary manager take the reins of the club? Does Bochy want to help Young in his approach?

That said, what we do know is that the manager has never really closed the door to a return to major league baseball in his former role. His name circulates often, in fact.
Imagine if, for example, Rangers went for a guy like Jacob deGrom and Bruce Bochy. Could this help get the franchise back on its feet? Maybe.
After all, Bochy is not like Tony La Russa. He is more able to connect with today’s youth than the former White Sox.
I would be curious to see that. After all, the Frenchman worked in San Diego and San Francisco from 1995 to 2019 and he made it to the World Series four times.
He obviously won three times in San Francisco.
The one who has already been manager of the year has 2003 victories in the National. Could he add to his total in the American League?
