That's it: Daulton Varsho is back in Toronto.
He is, with the launcher Casey Lawrence, back in the major. And to make room for them, the launcher Paxton Schultz and the pre-champ Will Wagner go to Buffalo, in minors.

Wagner did not have much playing time and even if he worked his defensive versatility, let's say that his 11 strokes this season were far from recreating the magic of 2024.
A turn in Buffalo, where he will have playing time, will do him good.
But there, to see a voltigger take the place of an pre-champ player makes a huge imbalance created between the aerobatics and the pre-champ players in the club.
At the moment, in the field, the Blue Jays have George Springer, Daulton Varsho, Anthony Santander, Nathan Lukes, Myles Straw, Alan Roden and Addison Barger. The latter can play the third goal, but still.
In the pre-champ, Alejandro Kirk, Tyler Heineman, Ernie Clement, Bo Bichette, Andres Gimenez and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. are there-with Barger who can replace Clement to the third goal.
By force of things, there are young voltigeurs who are left out. To see Myles Straw play in the left (not even in the center following the return of Varsho), for example, to the detriment of Roden or Barger, it's naughty for development.

And it is not as if Straw was essential …
We can't wait to see the plan for the rest of things since we have rarely seen such a condensed external field. Hoping that young people are not lacking in playing time.
