Anthony Volpe: one of the worst strikers from the major since 2023

It's not going very well for the Yankees in the times that run. The club accumulates defeats, and after four consecutive defeats against Blue Jays, the club is no longer at the top of its division.

Recall that the bombers held an advance of almost a dozen games on all the other teams in the division … at the end of May. Barely a month later, here they are in the second row.

There are several factors to explain these defeats that accumulate, but the yield of Anthony Volpe is one that is particularly about talking. The stop player player is a real offensive black hole, and that does not help his club.

That said, his setbacks are not just yesterday. In fact, when we look at all the players who have obtained at least 1,500 stick appearances since the start of the 2023 season (therefore, since the start of the Volpe career), we notice that Volpe has been in almost all the main statistical categories.

There are 62 players who had 1,500 stick appearances… and it is often 62nd.

If we decrease the number of stick appearances to 1000, there are a few players behind Volpe. That said, it is still down of the ranking … and that shows the problem in the Bronx currently.

Because despite all that, Volpe has an untouchable status in alignment and he rarely jumps out. Not only does it harm the Yankees, but it should not help the Kid either, he who fails to get out of his setbacks.

We know that for years, the Yankees have raised their nose on several large short-stied stoppage players on the autonomy market in order to leave this post to Volpe in the long term. And a few years later, we realize that for several reasons, this decision is turning against the bombers.

And when you know that it is not in the habits of the house to recognize its mistakes, it is probably not tomorrow the day before that the Yankees will try to rectify the shooting at this level.
