Abraham Toro: his primary goal is to break through the Brewers roster

A few months ago, Abraham Toro was traded to the Milwaukee Brewers. The infielder didn’t necessarily expect to leave the Seattle Mariners, but it happened.

So he now has the mandate to try to break into the Brewers roster, a good MLB club – without being an elite club.

But the difficulty is that the Milwaukee club is strong on depth. The challenge will therefore be imposing in order to break through the alignment of the Wisconsin formation.

Because Toro can go to the minors in 2023 without a problem, his goal is very simple: to make the team at the start of the season.

It might sound trivial for a guy who’s been playing in the Majors for a few seasons, but it shows he’s got both feet on the ground right now. And it’s good to see that.

This is what we learn in a paper by Todd Rosiak, a journalist who covers the activities of the Milwaukee Brewers.

Toro, who will represent Canada at the World Classic, seems to be making a good impression on local journalists. I imagine it’s the same for his teammates.

Of a sympathetic nature, excerpts from his responses to the media have been revealed and we see him open up in particular about his childhood in Longueuil.

We feel ready to face the challenges that will arise. After all, he’s already been traded twice in his career so he has the experience to deal with a lot of challenges.

After a more difficult 2022 season, here he is with a golden chance to show that under the right conditions, he is able to offer good ball.
