What does grint mean in golf?

Grints is the number of Par or better holes you make per round. So for example, if you make 7 pars and 2 birdies on a round. Your Grints% would be 50%.

In regards to, what does TheGrint stand for? Grints are the amount or percentage of Pars or better (birdies, eagles, etc) per round. If you go to Trends and click on Grints, you will see all the possible scores in those graphs (Pars, Birdies, Bogeys, Double Bogeys, etc) per round.

Considering this, why is TheGrint called TheGrint? As you probably already know, the name TheGrint comes from a game that our founders use to play as kids, in which you would make a point every time you made a Par or Better. And that was called a Grint in that game.
